About BBC iPlayer on iPad

NOTE: The BBC iPlayer service is ONLY available for users in the UK. This iPad webapp is designed for use on Apple iPad using a Wi-Fi connection.

Some very clever (and very geeky) people over at the BBC have developed a version of the BBC iPlayer for Apple iPad. It's called "Big Screen".

I've taken their work a couple of steps further, to enable iPad Users in the UK to enjoy the full benefits of the BBC iPlayer for iPad.

This iPad Webapp is constantly evolving. It will offer more advanced features as and when the BBC iPlayer dev team release advanced features.

BBC TV shows are streamed to your Apple iPad using Apple QuickTime that's pre-installed on your iPad. There is nothing to download.

iPad users can ONLY view BBC iPlayer using their Wi-Fi connection. The 3G and EDGE connection simply can't cope with the streaming.

This webapp for the iPad is entirely unofficial. I simply enjoy tinkering with webapps for iPhone iPad and iPod Touch.
